Ceroc Modern Jive Workshops

Attending a workshop is a great way to progress your dancing, so throughout the year we schedule a number of workshops to cater to every level.

Most workshops are rotational, so you don't need to bring a partner, however you can choose to stay with your own partner if preferred. (Check below for details on whether a partner is required)

Every effort is made to keep the gender balance even in our workshops, therefore bookings are essential.

Saturday 17th November
Intermediate Progression Workshop
WORK TOWARDS YOUR INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED CARD!
Concord RSL, corner Nullawarra Avenue and Nirranda Street
3.30pm to 6.30pm

The majority of dancers on the social dance floor are at intermediate level - and that's great!  We do know though that there's lots of you who aspire to improve your level and become more than intermediate.  A great indication of this is qualifying for a Blue Intermediate Advanced Card (IA Card) and subsequently rotating amongst the higher level dancers in the IA lines of our Intermediate Advanced classes, leading to even more improvement as a result of dancing with higher level dancers more often.

So, just like we have a Beginner Progression class to move the beginners up to their next level, this Intermediate Progression workshop is aimed at helping the Intermediates up to IA level.

During the workshop you will learn techniques that you might think you already know, but which are not common in most intermediate dancers, and are the main thing that hold intermediates back from stepping up to the next level.  Those techniques will be put into practise during the workshop in some example IA moves.

Cost: $35 per person (plus $5 surcharge for all or part payment on the day) OR pay with your Triple Workshop Pass (working out to only $28)
Prerequisites: You must be able to competently lead/follow regular intermediate class routines, plus have an open mind to potentially change some habits of a lifetime!

Partner preferred but not essential - rotation also available
