8 Greenfield Parade, Bankstown, Sydney
If you’ve skipped straight to this page, make sure you also read the Championships Home Page which has plenty of other useful and important information.
Competitions will be held over TWO DAYS. Until all entries are in and we know how many people are competing in each category, we cannot guarantee which categories will be held on which days, but this is what we anticipate:
Saturday: DWAS, Steals, Triples, Pro Am Showcase, Team
Sunday: Freestyle, Pro Am Freestyle, Showcase
Each category will run from heats to finals on the same day and each day will conclude with the awards ceremony for the categories of that day. Competitors are advised to be available for both days in case of an unavoidable schedule change.
Likewise until all entries are in we are unable to confirm start and finish times however anticipate that the competitions on Saturday will go from approximately 11am until 9pm, and on Sunday from approximately 11am until 6.30pm. On Saturday the awards ceremony will run straight into the Dance Party until midnight, and on Sunday the ballroom will close for a dinner break at approximately 6.30pm and will reopen for the Dance Party and Performance Night from 7.30pm til midnight.
Competitor entries open on Monday 2nd March 2020 and close on Wednesday 20th May 2020. All entries must be submitted online – see the bottom of this page for the link to the entry form. We would rather get your entry EARLY, so even if you don’t have the money yet to pay until the due date on 20th May, please submit now and pay later.
We must be notified of all intended entries for Teams and Showcases no later than Monday 20th April 2020 so we can ensure there are sufficient entries for these categories to go ahead and can confirm with all choreographers and team leaders that their rehearsing can continue.
